Water Baptism is an important step of obedience that shows others we have personally trusted Jesus for our salvation. Jesus was baptized when he was on the earth, and we do this to follow his example. When Christians are baptized, they are submerged under water to identify with the death and burial of Jesus, and raised out of the water to identify with his resurrection. We’re here to guide you through this beautiful step, whether you’re just starting to explore baptism or ready to take the plunge!
At River Valley Church we believe there is no great divide between the “ministers” and the “congregation". Everyone has something
they can do to impact the lives of others in the Kingdom of God. Whether you're passionate about welcoming people, working with kids, leading worship, or helping behind the scenes, there’s a place for you in our church family. Joining a ministry isn’t just about serving; it’s about connecting with others, building community, and making a meaningful impact.
Life Groups are intentional gatherings where people meet regularly to build connections, fostering growth as part of our church family. We believe God designed us for relationships, and through small groups, we find support, shared interests, and prayer. These groups help us grow spiritually and personally while supporting one another. From outreach groups, discipleship groups to early morning groups and Bible studies and coffee meet-ups, we invite you to dream with us as we expand this ministry area.
